[Dated: 30 Mar 2017 ]     Country : China

Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems A/S unveiled three separate orders in China for a total of 151 MW. The first firm and unconditional order comes from an unnamed company. Under the terms of the deal, Vestas will ship 22 units of the V110-2.0 MW model in 2.2 MW power optimised mode. The machines will be installed as part of a 48-MW project in Shandong province. Delivery and commissioning is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2017. That deal includes a two-year Active Output Management 4000 (AOM4000) service contract.

The second order was made by long-term customer HECIC-New Energy. The Chinese company has purchased 24 units of the V110-2.0 MW turbines for the Liutai wind project, located in Changli County of Qinhuangdao City in Hebei province. This order also includes a two-year Active Output Management 4000 (AOM4000) service contract. The turbines will be delivered and commissioned in the fourth quarter of the year. Vestas did not give information about the third order, except that it is for the supply of turbines from the 2-MW platform and that it concerns a 55-MW project. Delivery and commissioning are seen to start in the third quarter of 2017.
